Sea Freight Agencies (B'dos) Ltd. was established in 1988 by Chairman, David Harding, a knowledgeable and respected professional with over 40 years in the business. Operating out of the Atlantis Building in the Eastern side of the shallow draught at the Bridgetown Port , Sea Freight Agencies has a staff of 20.

Sea Freight Agencies is a full service Ships' Agent and Stevedoring Contractor looking after the Operations, Ships' Husbandry, Marketing and Sales for some of the worlds most well known shipping lines such as The Geest Line, a scheduled weekly service from UK and France offering dry and reefer containerised and breakbulk cargo.

The Geest Line has been serving the Eastern Caribbean for nearly 50 years with their reliable weekly visits. Geest is the only the only scheduled liner service to Barbados offering breakbulk and reefer cargo service. This is especially useful for importers of construction equipment and materials that are impossible to be containerised. Another aspect of the Geest service is its ability to move break bulk refrigerated cargo. This is most beneficial for importers of chilled or frozen products where there is not enough volume to fill a container.

Other principals represented by Sea Freight Agencies are

• Shell and EXXON/Mobil Tankers which supply fuel products to Barbados. These are unscheduled services and these tankers use the bunkering facility at Brighton and Oistins to supply Barbados fuel needs;
  
  
• Clipper Interamerica Carriers, provide a monthly Break-bulk service from USA and specializing in construction material especially lumber;
  
  
• Europe Caribbean Line, provide a break-bulk project cargo service from Europe.

Sea Freight Agencies' stevedoring services are contracted generally on the market and are among the most efficient and experienced offered on the Island. Of special interest would be our contract to handle the motor vehicle cargo arriving on MITSUI, as well as the several special project cargoes for the International Airport expansion, the construction of the new Hilton hotel, the construction of the "tank farm" for the National Oil Company, the installation of the power generating plant for the Barbados Light & Power Co. and the new addition to the fleet of buses for the Barbados Transpoort Board, among others
